What is the Adult Care Education Center (ACEC)?

ACEC is an online training support system.  Our mission is to improve the quality of care, provided by direct care staff, to residents in long term care facilities.

ACEC supports the Long-term Care Industry by Providing:
- Access to relevant online trainings, many of which are state  required.
- A system for administrators to track their facility employees' training history with easy verification for licensing visits.
- A system to administer employee proficiency quizzes.
- Notification system for local live trainings for administrators and nurses.


In 2002, Christine Stacy, CEO of Adult Care Education Center, contacted Gray Orbit to develop an online support system for her clients and education staff. After a few years and enjoying much success in the mid-Atlantic region, Adult Care Education Center, ACEConline.com, was created to focus on online training and further develop online services to long-term care facilities, and professional caregivers nationwide.

As of January, 2016 ACECconline.com is now operated by Stacy Education Enterprise, LLC under the direction of Christine Stacy, RN-BC, MS,  the founder and  former owner of Virginia Adult Care Education.  She is well-known throughout the Commonwealth by long-term care administrators and nurses for high quality, live trainings, approved by the Virginia Board of Nursing, the National Association of Long-term Care Administrator Boards / National Continuing Education Review Services (NAB/NCERS), the Virginia Department of Social Services (DSS), and the Virginia Physical Therapy Association (VPTA).

With the help of our members and sponsors, we envision a national network of facilities, and individual caregivers that will leverage the internet to reduce training costs, increase training options, and improve the quality of care to residents.
