What is the Adult Care Education Center?
We are an online training support system whose mission is to improve the quality of care received by residents in long term care facilities nationwide. How do we support the Long Term Care Industry? (1) We support training providers by providing an efficient way to create and publish online trainings, publish their live training schedule, and receive seminar registrations. (2) We support facility administrators and caregivers by: - providing access to relevant online trainings. - providing a system to track their facility employees' training history. - providing a system to administer employee proficiency quizzes. - providing a notification system for local seminar trainings. - providing a Facility Certification program. Our Partners Our services are financially supported by: (1) Individual and Facility memberships. (2) Business and Non-profit partners who sponsor our training initiatives. Our History  In 2002, CS3 Solutions LLC, a Virginia based web development company began to work with Christine Stacy, president of Adult Care Education Consultants and 1999 VGEC Educator of the Year, to develop on online support system for her clients and education staff. After a few years and enjoying much success in the mid-Atlantic region, Adult Care Education Center, LLC (aceconline.com) was founded in early 2004 by Carl Stacy to further develop online services to training providers, long term care facilities, and professional caregivers nationwide. Our Future With the help of our members and sponsors, we envision a national network of training contributors, facilities, and individual caregivers that will leverage the internet to reduce training costs, increase training options, and improve the quality of care given to residents. |
