What is the Adult Care Education Center (ACEConline.com)?

ACEConline  is a training support system.  Our mission is to empower direct care staff, and Registered Medication Aides, to provide quality of care required by Virginia DSS Standards for Licensing Assisted Living Facilities.

ACEConline  Supports Long-term Care Managers by Providing:
- Access to relevant online trainings, many of which are required by licensing standards.
- A system for administrators to track their facility employees' training history with easy verification for licensing visits.
- A system to administer employee proficiency quizzes.
- Notification system for local live trainings for administrators and nurses.

History

ACEConline.com is now under the direction of Christine Stacy, RN-C, MS, founder, and  former owner of Virginia Adult Care Education (VACE).  She is well-known throughout the Commonwealth by long-term care administrators and nurses for quality, live and online trainings, approved by the Virginia Board of Nursing, the National Association of Long-term Care Administrator Boards / National Continuing Education Review Services (NAB/NCERS),  and the Virginia Department of Social Services (DSS).  She has developed, and taught, numerous curricula for the Virginia Department of Social Services and the Virginia Geriatric Education Center. She wrote the original Virginia Board of Nursing Medication Aide Curriculum for assisted living facilities and is a respected authority in the Commonwealth on medication management.

Our Future

With the help of ACEC members and sponsors, we envision a Virginia network of facilities, and individual caregivers that will leverage the internet to reduce training costs, increase training options, and improve the quality of care to residents.
